Back in the Smoke
Back in the city, back to work. I do not approve. But, I had a very lovely long weekend at home in Yorkshire. Got to see my mum on Mother’s Day, Brownie Points in the bag there. And I got to chill out a bit because the end of last week saw me coming down with a cold, and I was exhausted! The cold lingers too, but it’s getting better. I’m sure I never usually have this much lurgy in a year. I am eating fruit today, just in case that is in fact good for me, as people keep trying to convince me.
I saw the dogs and the chickens, I communed with nature. I got lots of wool from Nin (my grandmother, I feel I always have to say, but really I should just leave it at Nin) and some patterns so maybe I will actually start a new project some time soon. I’ve also set her on a project, making me an Aran cardy. Ha.
I need to write up my review for book 18. Very much enjoyed it too. I think I need to speed up some if I’m going to reach that 100 books target. But, enough of that, here’s something fun I think people, and by people I mean my mum, will like. Extreme Sheep Art. Apparently most of it is real. If it isn’t, I’m saying it is anyway.
