Memory Box

I’ve always kept a lot of stuff from when I was younger. I do have a bit of a problem when it comes to throwing things away. Anyway, I had a look through it last night, for the first time in a while, and so here’s some of the contents of said box. It’s riveting I’m sure:

I really should put this dear to my heart stuff in a box more fitting, shouldn’t I?

My photography skills are lacking, so couldn’t get it looking any better than this, but it says: ‘It is never too late to be what you might have been’ – George Elliot. It’s a recent find that sort of struck a chord in my current state of mind.

Aww cute postcard from friend

I’ve had these ages. I like people to know which room is mine. I am a bit too old for them now though. Sadly they have to stay in the box.

Autographed ticket. That’s Joshua Jackson’s signature.

My (now defunct) social security card. I still know the number by heart. My N.I number? Not so much.

A ticket from the first proper concert I ever went to

Nice pictures of me through the years for my 21st birthday

Art work from my early teens

Valentine cards, from back when I was loved. :)

The infamous Bird Book. Of which more some other time

I have various NUS and other university cards kicking about

Prince ticket

Birthday card, from my 12th, filled with the funny things me and my friend used to crack each other up with. And still do really.

Another one, from my mommy, with more words of wisdom:

‘To accomplish great things we must not only act, we must also dream.’

A cute note from mum sent with a tape full of Gilmore Girls

Various postcards from around the world

Is that card from me? It would have been the mad-type thing for me to do :-)

I remember the Gizmo picture too. I was jealous that I couldn’t draw that well.

Yeah it’s from you. I had another one as well with all the ‘Leave him alone!’ and ‘This may look like a steering wheel’ things in it. Still make me giggle.
